Overview
A water-bourne varnish ideal for use on all wooden floors including hardwood, softwood boards, and parquet. The polymer chemistry gives a tough, hardwearing finish making it ideal for use in high-traffic areas such as hallways and living areas. Formulated to have a low odour and fast drying times for busy family homes.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and dirt free to ensure adhesion.
- Fill any minor defects, imperfections, or open joints with .
- Use a scrapper to remove any resinous deposits and wipe with methylated spirits.
- New timber - Lightly abrade along the grain using a suitable abrasive paper taking care not to damage or scratch the timber surface.
- Remove all defective coatings.
- Organic growths must be removed and infected surfaces should be treated with a suitable .
- All existing finishes should be thoroughly abraded to provide a key for good adhesion.
Application
We recommend always following the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin. Stir thoroughly, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility.
- Do not apply at temperatures below 8°C or above 25°C during the application or drying periods.
- Supplied ready to use do not thin.
- Use a good quality, synthetic fibre bristle brush or short pile roller, working in the direction of the wood grain.
- Apply 3 full coats allowing a minimum of 2-4 hours between coats.
- Avoid over-brushing as this may cause brush marks.
- Carefully denib between coats using a fine-grade nylon abrasive pad or a fine-grade (P240 or finer) wet or dry abrasive paper in the direction of the grain.
- Protect from water until dry.
- Avoid heavy foot traffic for 24 hours & allow 7 days before introducing carpets, rugs, or heavy furniture.
